SAE participates in Selangor Aviation Show
The Airbus subsidiary had a booth at the event, which took place 5-7 September at the SkyPark Regional Aviation Centre located near Kuala Lumpur’s Subang airport.
The team at the booth was led by SAE’s general manager, Burhan N. Ali. High profile visitors included Malaysia’s Minister of Transport, Anthony Loke, Chief Minister of Selangor state, Amirudin Shari, and a member of the Selangor state royalty, Tengku Shariffudin Shah.
A key objective for SAE participation was to attract potential candidates for various aircraft opportunities available at the MRO facility, including for skilled workers.
Following the event Burnhan said: “We were thrilled to be part of the show, which presented networking and engagement opportunities with industry players, partners, customers, suppliers and the general public. SAE remains committed to strengthening our local presence in the country, supporting Selangor State’s aspirations to grow and develop the aerospace and sector.”
“My utmost appreciation to colleagues at SAE for their dedication and support throughout the entire event, and congratulations to the Selangor State Government and Invest Selangor for this successful show.”
Based at Kuala Lumpur International Airport, SAE is an EASA Part 145-approved provider specialising in commercial aircraft, engines, and component services. It is also a wholly-owned subsidiary of Airbus, and it participates in the Airbus Customer Services network.
