Job Description: 

Primarily responsible to define the training policies, training program & its implementation; and the term of reference of all the training personnel.

Key Responsibility: 

1. To provide appropriate and adequate training standard acceptable to the company and relevant National
   Aviation Authorities.
2. To acquire or produce suitable technical and non-technical courses for the training and development of
   SAE personnel.
3. To acquire and maintain suitable training aids including classrooms multimedia systems, printing and
   training room’s facilities.
4. To acquire and maintain a conducive classroom facility and environment as stipulated by Authorities.
5. To ensure the Training Needs Analysis is performed with the collaboration of the respective department
   within SAE.
6. To undertake the necessary corrective actions resulting from the quality compliance monitoring and audit
   program.
7. To establish all training records including continuation training records for all relevant SAE personnel are
   maintained and updated as required.
8. To establish and maintain an effective and economical administrative system in the department.
9. To establish and ensure that all assets of the department are properly utilised, maintained and accounted
   for at all times.
10. To support and conduct technical and non-technical courses as required by the company.
11. To establish and ensure update of all training and qualification of all instructors and trainers records.
12. To ensure that Competence Development Section has sufficient instructors with appropriate qualifications,
    in possession of correct skills and current on the latest methods, procedures and requirements by reviewing the requirement status every 24 months to provide appropriate training to the staff.
13. To consult and liaise with Quality Department on matters pertaining to NAA approval of courses and training.
14. To monitor the progress of all courses to ensure that a high level of quality and performance standard.
15. To ensure that all examination question banks are complete, controlled, updated and secured at all times.
16. To plan or outsource staff development program for the improvement of competency and technical
    knowledge of the staff.
17. Responsible for the following SMS responsibility and safety accountabilities:
    1. Be responsible and accountable for the execution of safety policy and remedies associated with the activities of their particular department. Department's safety performance will be reviewed and assessed as appropriate.
    2. Ensure that the safety performance of all activities associated with their operations complies fully with the legislation, including the management and renewal of any operating/ safety licenses that are required and development of appropriate procedures. If there are any changes of process work, the department should inform Safety Section immediately.
    3. Ensure that all operations follow procedures stated in the SAE Safety Management Plan, Safety Procedures Manual, Maintenance Manuals, Engineering Procedures Manuals, etc. Raise the issues and consult Safety section if in doubt.
    4. Ensuring that sound safety working practices are regularly observed.
    5. Serve as role model of safety for all.

10 years aircraft maintenance experience or aviation management.

Qualifications, Skills: 

1. Aviation Training experience.

2. Knowledgeable on NAA training requirement, analytical mindset, planning capability and presentation skills

   leadership and autonomy.

4. Excellent presentation. Good written and verbal communication skills.

Key Responsibility: 

• To ensure that maintenance on the aircraft meets the requirements of the airworthiness authorities and the company and that the aircraft is fit for release to service as stipulated in his/her approval certificate
• To plan, organize and control the required manpower to meet each aircraft zone requirement as determined by the Team Coordinator and to ensure manpower availability at all times.
• To lead and manage a team of Aircraft technicians and to ensure completion of an aircraft task or check within the time period allocated
• To ensure zonal progress are within the timeline as per the flowchart of the check and update the Team Coordinator progressively.
• To ensure work carried out on the aircraft with highest quality and safety standards
• To ensure all documents are properly certified without discrepancy, to enable smooth delivery of aircraft check packages to the customers.
• To enforce strict discipline of technicians under his/her respective zones.
• To maintain good self-discipline and respect superiors at all times.
• To ensure his / her licence, company authorization and recurrent training is current and up to date.
• To ensure good housekeeping and unused items credited back to store at the end of shift
• To ensure the availability of safety equipment and to observe all safety measures whilst working on the aircraft.
• To carry out duties assigned by the superiors.

Requirements: 

• Certificate/Diploma related to Aviation industry

Experience Level: 

• 2 years’ experience in Aviation

Authorization: 

CAAM part 66 AMEL A320 family with CFM/v2500 engine or A330 type rating endorsed. Aircraft type certificate, certified by EASA 147 approved training organization would be advantage.

Scope of Position
Shall be able to work, install, repair, and replace the sheet metal components of an aircraft, including various structural assemblies and sub-assemblies. Sheet Metal Mechanics perform complex structural repairs to keep aircraft up to specifications. Ability to read technical drawings.

Requirements & Skills

• Skill Certificate or Diploma or Degree in any engineering field or higher (especially in Aerospace or Aeronautics).
• 2 years experience in commercial MRO or Component MRO or similar industry.
• Other Experience/Training/Qualifications: Aviation, MRO knowledge, Aviation Workshops practices.
• Special projects, technical skills, or certifications: Problem-solving/ analysis capability. People’s management, Report writing, Mitigation planning, and Project Management.
