2nd Hangar Official Opening, 10 Years & 500 ‘C’ Checks Anniversary In SAE

Sepang Aircraft Engineering Sdn Bhd (SAE) officially opened its second hangar on the 21st September 2017 to boost the maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) centre's capacity to handle the Airbus A320 family in conjunction with its 10 Years and 500 ‘C’ Check Anniversary

The ceremony was officiated by the Minister II of International Trade and Industry Dato’ Seri Ong Ka Chuan in presence of the Spanish Ambassador to Malaysia H.E.Carlos Dominguez Garcia and the French Ambassador to Malaysia H.E. Frederic Laplanche.

With a floor area of 12,000 square metres, the second hangar is able to accommodate two A320 aircraft for major maintenance checks. It features Malaysia's first eco-friendly closed-door dedicated paint bay, as well as state-of-the-art workshops for the repair and overhaul of a wide range of components used on Airbus aircraft.
