Warmest Greeting s from Sepang Aircraft Engineering,

Sepang Aircraft Engineeering had completed 10 out of the 12 aircrafts designated for the TigerAir subleased transition to Indigo Airlines program within 6 months commencing from October 2014.

All the aircrafts have C check maintenance and subleased requirement work performed and was subsequently painted with Indigo Livery Painting and redelivered to Indigo for immediate revenue flights.

Sepang Aircraft Engineering is proud to have partnered Tigerair in this successful program

Sepang Aircraft Engineering in cooperation with Airbus Hamburg Technical team had successfully performed two skin change and frame repair on the tail belly area due to  tail strike.

Sepang Aircraft Engineering successfully completed the tail strike repair program within the OEM stipulated timeline.

Airstream International Group has completed the sale of ATR72-500 serial number 720. The aircraft, previously operated by Kingfisher Airways, has been delivered to Air Vanuatu who will be using the aircraft on domestic and international flights. The aircraft, now registered YJ-AV71, underwent extensive refurbishment at Sepang Aircraft Engineering in Malaysia prior to delivery. The work package was managed by McLarens Aviation on behalf of the seller, Plateau Aviation. Barclays Bank acted on behalf of the owner and agent for the French and Italian export credit agencies in the transaction. Aviation Management Sales LLC managed the transaction on behalf of Air Vanuatu.

Greetings from Sepang Aircraft Engineering (SAE)

SAE welcomed SIA’s CEO Mr Goh Choon Phong, Senior VP Engineering, Mr Mervyn Sirisena & Divisional VP Engineering (Technical Projects & Divisional Services) Mr Lau Hwa Peng on  02nd September 2014 for a courtesy visit., the SIA team took the opportunity to tour SAE facilities and had a short discussion with SAE’’s management team.
