1. Job Title : Capability & Development Officer (CDO)


Location: Sepang Aircraft Engineering Company (SAE)

Function: To Assist CDE to Develop In-House Workshop Capability

Reports to: Capability & Development Engineer (CDE)

 

Specific Function and Responsibilities

  1. Assist the CDE to plan and implement the project tasks to meet the datelines.
  2. Gather the technical specification from the OEM and suppliers.
  3. Evaluate and check the appropriate design/technical documents from OEM to be translated into internal documents.
  4. Compile the cost of the material, equipment & tools, renovation, manpower, training and other thing that related to the capability.
  5. Compare the technical specification on difference OEM and vendor to get the right specification to be developed.
  6. Liaise, discuss on technical matters with vendors, airlines, airworthiness authority, and overhaul agency and all other SAE departments in regards to your assigned responsibility.
  7. Source for new vendors and suppliers to learn and be exposed on the know-how and capability.
  8. Prepare Workshop Worksheet, SAE Manual, Drawings, Engineering Request Form and Justification Forms.
  9. Provide engineering services support to component undergoing maintenance check or encountering service disruptions.
  10. Liaise with customer/vendor/manufacturer for any discrepancies regarding the technical manual.
  11. Assist Engineering Manager as directed.


2. Engineer / Senior Engineer, Quality Assurance

Location: Sepang Aircraft Engineering Company (SAE)

Expected Date for Start: Immediately

Reports to: Assistant Manager, Quality Assurance

Supervisor of: Officer / Executive, Quality Assurance

 

Specific Function and Responsibilities

  1. Undertake tasks related to safety and airworthiness requirements as assigned by Assistant Manager Quality Assurance. Report status and file reports on assigned tasks to his/her office.
  2. Perform surveillance on SAE engineering and maintenance activities to ensure compliance with requirements, procedures and standards so that quality of the product is maintained in an airworthiness state. Raise Surveillance reports and issuance of NCR to Area Owners for corrective and remedial actions to be accomplished within the agreed time frame.
  3. Perform audits, inclusive of verification of corrective and preventive actions taken by responsible Managers on recent quality audit reports and  ‘Open’ NCRs. Report status and file reports on assigned tasks to his/her office.
  4. Liaise with customer Quality Assurance personnel on matters relating  to compliance to airworthiness requirements.
  5. Conduct of oral assessment as a Quality Testing Officer (QTO) to assess qualified personnel for issuance of company authorization / approval. Reporting to Assistant Manager Quality Assurance on issues related to qualifying of personnel. Recommend competent candidates for the issuance or renewal of personnel Company Authorization / Approval.
  6. Carry out investigation of any incident / accident involving aircraft maintained / operated by SAE. Discuss and file reports on adverse findings and observation to Assistant Manager Quality Assurance. Monitor and review corrective and preventive actions taken to prevent a recurrence.
  7. Recommend to HQAS dispositions on request for deviation from approved procedures submitted by authorized personnel from the Materials or the Aircraft Production Department.
  8. Prepare the Quality and Safety Department Quality Notices and safety bulletin.
  9. Carry out Assessment of Suppliers / Repair Facilities / Sub-Contractors for SAE.
  10. Conduct Technical Inquiry as assigned by HQAS.
  11. Perform Certificate of Maintenance Review on customer aircrafts as assigned, where required.

12. Perform any other duties as assigned by his/her superior.

 

3. Job Title: Licensed Aircraft Engineer (LAE) B1/B2

Location: Sepang Aircraft Engineering Company (SAE)

Expected Date for Start: Immediate

 

Specific Function and Responsibilities

  1. To ensure the maintenance on the aircraft meets the requirements of the airworthiness authorities and the company and that the aircraft is fit for release to service as stipulated in his/ her approval certificate.
  2. To plan, organize and control the required manpower to meet each aircraft zone requirement as determined by the LEO and to ensure manpower availability at all times.
  3. To lead and manage a team of Aircraft technicians and to ensure completion of an aircraft task or check within the time period allocated.
  4. To ensure zonal progress are within the timeline as per the flowchart of the check and update the LEO progressively.
  5. To ensure work carried out on the aircraft with highest quality and safety standards.
  6. To ensure all documents are properly certified without discrepancy, to enable smooth delivery of aircraft check packages to the customers.
  7. To enforce strict discipline of technicians under his/ her respective zones.
  8. To maintain good self-discipline and respect superiors at all times.
  9. To ensure his/ her company authorization and recurrent training is current and up to date.
  10. To carry out duties assigned by the superiors.

11.  DCAM part 66 AMEL

12.  A320 family with CFM/V2500 engine or A330 type rating endorsed.

13.  Aircraft type certificate must be certified by EASA 147 approved training organization.

14.  Preferable with 6/24 months experience with A320 or A330 in Base Maintenance.

 

 

4. Job Title: Program Manager

Specific Function and Responsibilities

•    Accountable for the on-time and on-budget delivery of assigned projects.
•    Contribute to contractual technical negotiations as required by Commercial department during sales campaigns.
•    Contribute to the check package evaluation to ensure the budget and TAT established is in line with business objectives.
•    Manage the progress of assigned projects against the agreed budget and timeline and take necessary actions to ensure delivery to plan.
•    Monitor, manage and mitigate risk to the given projects.
•    Chair internal milestone reviews as defined.
•    Chair the daily review with the Customer.
•    Consolidate internal inputs to provide the customer with regular progress reports.
•    Performs internal reporting on the status of the checks to key stakeholders.
•    Interface with all internal departments as needed to meet the objectives of the check.
•    Manage items under Customer responsibility to promote delivery in line with expected dates/standards.
•    Aims to maximise revenue by ensuring all work is correctly assigned to existing contractual conditions.
•    Identifies the performance of work in addition to the initial check package to ensure the correct contractual conditions are applied.
•    Provide the Customer a dedicated SAE interface that exceeds service level expectation.
•    Maintain an awareness of Quality and Regulatory standards and promote the adherence to these in all activities.
•    Maintain company approvals where applicable to actively support the Part 145 activity as and when required.
•    Support activities outside normal working hours as needed.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

•    Minimum 10 years of experience in the aircraft industry, with practical knowledge of MRO.

Reporting, Supervision and Performance Evaluation

•    The Program Manager reports to the Vice President of Program Organisation.
•    He/She will work closely with Commercial, Planning, Operation, Materials, Capacity, Customer Support and Engineering departments.

Job Responsibilities:

The Job preparation is to review aircraft technical document, preparation on aircraft maintenance check package/in man-hours/material/tooling/time line/works cope minutes/sending invitation of meeting/ conduct work scope meeting prior Aircraft input to production.

 

Job Requirement:

  1. Fresh graduate in Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Aeronautical/ Engineering with a minimum of 3-4  year work experience preferably in planning, project management, fleet technical management and both Line & Base Maintenance environment on the following aircraft:
    1. A318/319/320/321
    2. A330
    3. ATR 42-400/500/72-212A
    4. B737-300/400/500
  2. Good knowledge in Maintenance planning data/AMM/SRM/NTM/TSM/CMM/IPC would be advantage.
  3. Good working knowledge of regulatory requirements including DCAM/ EASA Part 145/66/M would be advantage.

Job Purpose:

The Dock Planner is to study and have brief understanding on the assigned check in accordance with the time line/ Gantt Chart and physical package provided by Job Preparation, to liaise with Commercial Department and Customer Support section on capture man-hours and recording of additional works, monitor and coordinate spares required for the check, update daily check progress, to ensure aircraft acceptance form are completed, all task cards related to the check are properly closed, all non-cleared tasks have been deferred accordingly, Tech. Log entry pertaining to the check is closed before CRS issued, to ensure all work package are closed physically and in AMASIS system prior to aircraft serviceable.

Job Requirement:

  1. Diploma / Degree in Aeronautical/ Engineering/ Aircraft Maintenance license with a minimum of 2 years work experience preferable in planning, project management, fleet technical management and both line and base maintenance environment on the following aircraft:

9. Job Title: ADS - A400M - FIELD SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE


Report to:

ADS – FSR & SAE Head of Military Program


Position Summary

A successful applicant represents Airbus Defense and Space onsite at the RMAF facilities. He/she will assist the Field Service Manager in providing on-site technical assistance, maintaining contact with the Engineering, Maintenance, Flight Operations, Training and Technical Purchasing departments, ensuring communication between the airline and Airbus in order to satisfy  Airbus Customer Services obligations towards the airline and set the stage for future sales.

 

Primary Responsibilities

  1. Provide technical advice and transfer knowhow to the Line Maintenance department at entry-into-service (EIS) of a new aircraft type within a customer's fleet. This may involve adjusting working hours to the airline's Flight schedule for a limited period of time (weeks or months according to the aircraft maturity).
  2. Responsible to interface and communicate with all departments at Airbus and the airline taking into account changing organizations and the need to understand decision-makers at the airline.
  3. Solve aircraft technical problems quickly under high-pressure in terms of available time recognizing aircraft- on-ground (AOG) involves financial losses.
  4. Be able to provide assistance on a wide variety of issues, not limited to technical matters.
  5. Provide quick solutions to avoid emotionally loaded situations.
  6. Be proactive in supporting the airline's technical functions; including Flight Operations, Training and Spares.
  7. Adapt to specific airlines cultural, financial and climatic environments.
  8. The Field Service Representative assists the Field Service Manager in implementing the support function for aircraft operation and focusing on developing the effective working relationships with the customer.
  9. The main responsibilities are to provide technical assistance to the airlines engineering and maintenance departments (especially during entry-into-service) as well as guidance for proper troubleshooting and maintenance

 

Technical assistance:

  1. Transfer technical know-how to Line Maintenance.
  2. Assist the airline with technical inquiries by identifying, analysing, and proposing solutions to problems or asking for specific support when needed.
  3. Respond to airline queries during standby outside working hours in case of aircraft-on-ground (AOG) and incident inquiries.

 

Representation / relationship with customer:

  1. Represent Airbus Defense and Space to the RMAF at all technical levels
  2. Establish and maintain required working relationships with the RMAF through regular interaction. During these sessions identify problems to be solved and propose solutions or forward to the relevant specialist if necessary. Verify that the requests to/by the RMAF are properly addressed and reflect the real needs, and ensure that answers are provided to the airlines In a timely manner and to the responsible persons.

 

Reporting:

  1. Maintain proper communication with the Field Service Manager and other members of the Resident Customer Support team on site.
  2. During entry-into-service (EIS) phase, relay technical events/snags to ADS and provide requested pieces of information to ADS to improve aircraft database resources
  3. Maintain effective communication with all ADS departments.  Report to any Airbus departments on all issues that can impact customer satisfaction or Airbus business.
  4. Gather data and intelligence for use in all departments of ADS
  5. Assist the Field Service Manager in producing mandatory and ad hoc periodic reports.

 

Qualified Experience / Skills / Training:

  1. Excellent communications skills.
  2. Effective interpersonal skills.
  3. Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in a sales or service role or other function which supplemented basic aviation knowledge with Airbus specific knowledge of the range of Airbus models and their many systems and parts as well as maintenance and service technology and techniques.

 

Education / Special Qualifications:  (Certifications, Licenses, Clearances required)

  1. An Associates or Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering/Technology or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  2. Preferably an Aerospace Master’s degree
  3. International experience as well as speaking Spanish are considered to be a plus
